Ypsomed Software (on your computer)
To install the Ypsomed Software, Microsoft Windows 7 or newer is required.
The Ypsomed Software requires at least 500MB of hard drive space - it is recommended that you have 1GB of RAM.
Yes - there is a minimum screen resolution requirement of 1024 x 768 pixels.
Yes - data will be stored on your computer in your "my documents" folder. Data files will be stored in a folder called "Ypsomed\Ypsomed". For each user, there will be a separate data folder. Stored data will be encrypted to ensure privacy.
If your therapy data is saved in the Ypsomed Cloud, you would simply need to re-install the Ypsomed Software onto your new device and log in using your username and password. If data is not stored in the Ypsomed Cloud, you will have to manually transfer the entire "Ypsomed" folder located in the users Documents folder.
The Ypsomed Software can be uninstalled with Windows Programs and Features. In addition, the Windows Start menu includes an item for uninstalling the Ypsomed Software from your PC.
Yes. Frequent manufacturer software updates, e.g. from Microsoft, may occur automatically. These may compromise the operability of the Ypsomed Software. In case of any suspected malfunctions, please contact your customer service.
No - you can use the Ypsomed Software on a computer without an internet connection, provided you have a CD-ROM to install the Ypsomed Software locally. If you do not have a CD-ROM but wish to use the Ypsomed Software without an internet connection, please contact your local customer care line.
- Ensure your user profile has administrator rights. If not, the system will not allow you to install the Ypsomed Software.
- Check if you have enough hard drive space.
- Check if you are using the operating system Windows 7 or newer.
- If you are trying to download the installation file, make sure you are connected to the internet, with a bandwidth sufficient to download the application.
